I applied for passport book and card last March 7. I received them March 23.

but I never received my naturalization certificate back after too many calls and emails to passport agency they called me today that post office might got delivered it to other address hopefully they will return it 😩. They said they will reimburse me if I will apply for a new naturalization certificate. I told them I cant afford it right now 😩 thay said its possible that I will still receive it.

Does anyone here experienced the same situation? What did tou do? Did you still received the Certificate or apply for a new one??

please help. thank you

I am sorry to hear that. I would strongly recommend, you go ahead and file for a replacement. Borrow money from friend if needed and hi/her off when you get reimbursed. While, it's not absolutely necessary, since you already have the passport, you should have a copy of your Nat. Certificate in your possession.

I am going to apply for the passport soon and I am going to use the Certified True Copy just to avoid this kid of situation.

Thank you for the reply. I think I will wait a little longer. 😩 hoping I will still received it.

good thing I scanned it before I applied for passport so I have a copy. There are a lot of case that their Nat Cert got lost but I have no idea if they still received it. Dont they require you to submit orginal Naturalization Certificate when applying for passport?
