how to prove we are not married yet?

Good morning everyone,

 

My fiance and I sent our package back in  january but just realized  that we sent the company proceeds paper stating that I (the beneficiary) had the "status" of his spouse on it.

I am really hoping they won't much care about it but in case we get a RFE do you know how i can proceed to prove that we are not married yet ?

 

I am a french citizen living in the uk if that can help get answers ^_^
