haven't had any complaints so far...

Yeah, just ignore it. I think there are a lot of people who find this thread useful and would rather not have to dig for it. :thumbs:

Others in this thread would surely disagree. What's your problem?

I guess I'm just used to this forum having good etiquette, and on most other forums I frequent "bumping" is considered extremely poor etiquette and often a banning offense. I find it annoying personally. If everyone else thinks its just great, fair enough, I won't say anything else.

considering how many threads get started by people in this situation who need to see and read through it I think the bumping is quite useful, actually.

This isn't off topic after all, people come here for information about a potentially very stressful situation.

Why don't you add us to the list ie. AOS received 26 November 2004. Transferred to California Service Center 8/22/2005. No interview. Wife from Russia. Our message on the USCIS website is listed as:

This is for folk who have had interviews but are pending FBI name check. CSC transfers generally don't get interviewed and generally don't get told they are stuck in FBI Name Check.

I regularly add my 2 cents worth to this thread because I actually got told we are waiting the outcome of our namecheck, even though we are at CSC. That's why our name is not listed above but I hang out with them. Try adding your info to this list: Transfers to CSC. We're on it.

How did you find out that you were pending a namecheck while at CSC? I'm thinking this is the case with us as well but I'd like to know for sure.
