looked at some of "time lines" for people who post here, they have day by day account of what is happening with their case , how do you all get this info , is it from USCIS "case status online"?

Most people just input the information from what they have on file such as postal stubs as well as all the documentation that you recieved from the USCIS which have dates on them. From then on when something moves in the cases we usually see it on the USCIS site and input it before it is changed. You should do the same!

i had my AOS interview on 22nd in texas, the immigration officer said " conditional permanent residency is approved except that they did not receive the FBI background chk yet".................

I hope you will get clear on ur name very soon!

thank you, everyone plz pray for me..

another question , USCIS website( case status) still has s0me $hit from september'07 , when they are going to update the status?

after that i had fingerprints taken, medical , AOS interview

most members stuck in this situation hear nothing else until the greencard is approved. This can mean years without so much as a touch. Its totally normal to not have any touches or any updates in status now.

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten recent approvals! :) Encouraging to see some of the old cases are being taken care of..I hope the rest of us are coming up soon!!!

Kopa,

Have you been waiting since 3/27/07 for them to review your case?

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Yes I have been waiting since then though part of it is my fault considering immigration was put on the back burner due to my pregnancy and the birth of our daughter. I was going to write my congressman again yesterday when we received a letter in the mail for my husband to redo his fingerprints (exciting since most of you have received greencards shortly afterwards!!). Unfortunately, they sent it to the original address on the application despite the fact we have moved twice and received notification twice that our address was updated. My husband missed his appointment by 1 WEEK!!! Apparently when it was returned to them by the post office as "no such address" (that address does exist not quite sure why that happened) they looked us up in the computer saw the address was different and mailed the notice to us stapled to the envelope showing it was returned to them. Luckily my husband works right next to the biometrics center and will be going down this morning with the appt letter, proof our address was changed, and plead with them to allow him to get his fingerprints still taken. I really don't want to have to make an infopass appt to straighten this all out. Pray it works! I will keep you all updated. I am just greatful they remailed it as a lot of times they don't even attempt it..

I hope this new set of fingerprints leads to the green card. My husband got his green card 2 months after he went for a second set of prints.

2 years and 13 days from NOA to card in hand!

Hi all. I've been reading a lot on this thread and just wanted to let you know that we are stuck in name check too. :crying: It's been almost a year since our interview and they are still giving us the run-around. My mom has sent letters to the state senator and congressman. Don't know if that will help but it's worth a shot. Anyway, hope everyone gets the approval they're waiting for soon!

Ya went to a infopass appointment about 2yr card my wife recieved and showed the IO our marriage certifcate and welcome letter. She said ya you should got a 10yr card since your marriage was already 2yrs old and fill out a I-90. Why did we make this trip i already new this.? I told her your hotline told us to make a infopass and she said they dont know anything. She said she would print out a I-90 and i said i have one filled out right here. Boy did that get a look lmao....

then i ask her if it was filled out right! And she changed Part 2 to Permanent Resident(not a Commuter) but i think it should be condtional Permanent Resident because thats what they sent my wife a 2yr card instead of 10 yr card anyone want to take a look at a I-90 for me and let me know what they think? I wish this nightmare would end! we only drove 2 hours wowwwww
