Congratulations! What a great feeling that must be. Have some Cinco de Mayo margaritas!

I hope you'll continue to stop by the board. Your dispassionate, clear, and consistently helpful posts are always a welcome sight amid the sometimes hysterical, but always dynamic, immigration threads.

Enjoy!

I agree...we have to keep this thread going....Alot of us still waiting :crying::crying::crying:

Nothing still on our case. My mind is boggled with just waiting, we have done everything except a WOM ; which I believe is not feasible with an AOS anymore (if I'm correct).

Almost to page 100!!!

We applied for AOS April 2006, interviewed in July 06 we were approved pending the securitly clearance, and we are still waiting for a FBI name check. We had an info pass appointment this past Feb was told that my hubby past the FBI name checK by the immigration officer at the desk. Our congress woman confirmed it, but then she also states that he was assigned the wrong a-number upon his arrival to the US  I wonder if they did the name check on the wong number or if it even matters  or if it had to be redone? I called the USCIS after that( most recently this March) they mailed a responce saying that it was still pending and that if we had not heard anything in 6 months to call back. The information is so conflicting.

so when they do FBI check name that mean the case is approved they wait just for that check from FBI

cander you are in security clearance and NOT at this stage yet. AOS fbi namecheck has little to nothing to do with what you are going through. you can, however, continue to confuse yourself if you choose, but you can check the link I posted in your thread.

and yes if you meet certain criteria you WILL have more clearances to go through for your K3.
