i know its good to hear something at least even tho its just "pending" but that doesnt tell you if its lost in space somewhere with the fbi. they just tell you is pending in their computer and thats where it stops. it seams they should inquire with the fbi and not just look on their computer screen.

/sigh thats true. i guess if he has a fire under him at the moment go for it.

I was approved yesterday as well, whoo!

more approvals! keep them coming!

We actually have some good news *hopefully*! We contacted our Congressman last October and I have called multiple times to get a response..with NOTHING in return. Needless to say I was very frustrated and of course INFOPASSes has gotten us nowhere so I tried to call again today and they told me they have received a response back from FBI and left me a voicemail (on what phone number they couldn't say?) and just hadn't mailed the letter yet...ARRGGGHHH! Apparently The FBI name check was completed on March 27, 2007 WHOO HOO!!! They can't do any more inquiries for me for 90 days (it is the approximate time it takes for final processing with USCIS) I really hope this is the end of the dark tunnel... We are so sick of being here!

Ok folks, here is an update: Went for info pass this morning and was told that my name check came back clear from the FBI on 4-17-2007 and uploaded into USCIS computer on 4-26-2007. Ofcourse they did not even bother to check until i went there this morning. Anyhow, the officer printed her computer screen showing the name check results and said that she would put it in my file. I then asked about fingerprints as mine have expired long ago, and the officer filled out a fingerprint form and asked me to go get finger printed tomorrow. She then said that I would have to come back for an interview (wife and I) so naturally I informed the officer that we already had an interview almost a year ago, and she was shocked or surprised to hear that (what does that tell you about their inner workings??) She then consulted with another officer who told her that interviews are conducted but await FBI name check completion. This also tells me that if i had not gone down there to inquire this morning, they would have sat on it for a few more months probably.

So it was good news long over due this morning and we are happy that we are one step closer, hopefully it will all end soon. Good luck to everyone else on here.

My FBI name check was requested by USCIS on February 02, 2006, so it took almost 15 months to be completed.

Hopefully good news is headed our way too. Yesterday I got a call from our senator's office. They received my email inquiry and are following up. I really didn't think they would do anything since it has only been a little over a month since our interview. We will see what they come up with :)
