AOS interview successful, but waiting for FBI name check

Bumping this and adding that our DO rolled their dates this weekend.

They are now processing cases with a receipt date of 2/06.

Our receipt date is 11/05.

I'm now more than annoyed.

isnt this the time that you can request a formal inquiry of USCIS? I know again its a long shot, but they tell you to call if your more than 30 days over the processing time.

We'll see what happens when my Senator's office makes the call. I purposely waited till we were at this point so that any inquiry made by an elected representative would have more than name clout and 'position' behind it - that there would be substance to it as well.

Hopefully your DO dates moving forward are a good thing, you can at least hope it is, right?

Mine however have gone backwards, from May 20, 2006 to Feb 23, 2006.

i just looked it up - our Receipt date is 10/23/05 and Tampa is now processing 12/05/05.. well i guess we are in the same club...

i am still waiting for a reply from the liason... although with our rep running for Governor, I am sure they are busy!

Well Laura, as you've found in your research, being outside the processing times is really irrelevant when it comes the namecheck abyss.

yes, our district office is processing receipt dates February 23, 2006...and our date was August 12, 2005. that's six months, folks.

we're still waiting (im)patiently...hoping we get that welcome letter soon! they told us at our infopass appointment 30-45 days, but somehow,..i just don't believe them.

Hey we're still waiting. We filed July 2004..thats right 2004. We had our interview Feb 9th. I'm from Canada. Super frustrating process.

WOW 2004 I thought I had it bad... Jan 05... Still waiting for B-checks...
