AOS interview successful, but waiting for FBI name check

It seems so strange to me our 129 form was touched 2 times since we sent RFE.

485 Form has never been touched since than.

What does it mean? They working on the case?

Who received approval how it was going for you. Thank you a lot

They changed info when they received the RFE with additional info back. Since than nothing

i am not sure you are in the right thread mamamija. i should think CSC transferees would be appropriate, but if you have specific questions regarding the status of your case, why not make an infopass appt as I previously suggested?

hey guys, have your receipt #s been removed from the BCIS/USCIS website?

I have tried to log in to my portfolio and just look up the AOS case specifically. I am kinda hoping its just a system problem tonight.... i want to at least be able to look once in awhile.

Heh. That's a good thing. Normally a 'missing' case means that it's been pulled and about to be posted as approved.

I checked ours earlier today and just now. It's still the same as it has been since 12/28/05. If there was a 'system glitch' during the hours you were searching, I missed it 'cause I was nowhere near a PC during that time.

If your case number is still missing in the morning, well then go celebrate because you are probably done.

I never noticed this thread and had no idea I had been added to it! I was just about to add myself when I saw I was already there! hah! Anyway, just updated my info. My husbands biometrics was actually the same day as the interview. After the interview, in fact. We got approved 8 weeks to the day post interview. We got the bio appt at the interview. Green Card should be here soon though! We are so excited! I definitely wish the best to the rest of you that are still pending. I know how much of a wreck its made me and my husband being in limbo and not knowing what's going on....

Finally, 45 days after a sucessful interview but approval pending due to delay in security clearence, we got email from CRIS.. welcome letter on the way 6/9.....Welcome letter arrives 6/12

When do I get my green card??? any ideas???

Woke up today and saw that the processing times are updated and that Carina's AOS app is now officially over the 30 days past the Chicago District AOS processing date. YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY! (Carina's receipt date is 12/21/2004).

So I called USCIS and spoke to an immigration officer, explained our delay and problem with biometrics, and he is having our case "referred" to see what is going on.

He said hopefully a new biometrics appointment will be scheduled and/or this "will light a fire" under the Chicago office to get Carina's AOS app approved. His own words:)

He said if we don't hear something in 30-45 days to call back. This time I remembered to write down his name too.

Progress?? We will see.....

All the best of luck to you Dave in finally getting Carina's AOS application approved. I also checked the processing dates yesterday and realized that we are just a few days short of the 30 day expiration time as well, so I will be calling very soon!!!
