i watched an hour long special about this guy a few weeks ago.

he lives in mexico and weighed like 1200 POUNDS when he first went on his diet..... now he's down to around 750. he's been doing the "zone diet". and has a skinny girlfriend! he's been stuck in his bed for 6 years what a nice girlfriend... it was a touching show.

The best thing anyone can do for him right now is get his mother to stop feeding him...she at the very least shares some of the responsibility for his condition.

Well....isn't he a candidate for gastric bypass? I mean, I hate it that he's so big (wow) but it sounds like to me that he would benefit from this surgery so much. Just the health issues alone would qualify him.
