It's just ridiculous to get that big. Perhaps a medical or mental issue is at the core? Sad, but I hope he can square that away, or he will die soon. Maybe one of those stomach rings may help?

I saw Dr. Phil today (yeah yeah) and there was a woman on there who was 650 lbs. and couldn't leave her house but had her abusive boyfriend take care of her every day. She wouldn't admit to eating more than 1700 calories today, just drinking soda. When Dr. Phil said "guess what, I'm bringing a personal trainer, a nutritionist, a therapist, a case worker, medical workers to caretake all the time, etc. etc. etc." she still wouldn't dump her boyfriend and she didn't even seem happy. I think she was honestly content to check out of her life and was actually completely opposed to change. Who knows why.

i watched an hour long special about this guy a few weeks ago.

he lives in mexico and weighed like 1200 POUNDS when he first went on his diet..... now he's down to around 750. he's been doing the "zone diet". and has a skinny girlfriend! he's been stuck in his bed for 6 years :( what a nice girlfriend... it was a touching show. :(
