Hi everyone!! I just want to ask a question  my husband is bringing his son to USA and he's son have the interview on may. My question is my stepson is 8 years old do we need to do an appointment for his fingerprints and how much is the cost for the medical is anyone here can help me I will really appreciate! Thanks

Hi , it means that my husband or his mother have to do fingerprints instead? Because my stepson is in Dominican Republic with his mom.

Huh? Where did you decide this?

 

OP, he is too young for fingerprints. You should have a list of requirements of what he needs for the interview from the embassy, at his age it’s basically full birth certificate and passport. He will need to have a medical done for the immigrant visa interview, the cost varies by country and sometimes even if there are different approved doctors in the same country they charge differently, you need to find a DR forum to ask there.

 

 I presume you have the custody arrangements sorted out already?
