I seriously don't know what the Sherriff is thinking about on this one. No good can come out of a decision like this. And as for Paris- if she thinks she got a lot of ####### before, she is really going to get it now. She should have just done her time without the whining.

That's the celebrity mentality. They somehow think they're above the rest of us and should be treated far differently. Regardless of what they've done. This supposed "medical condition" must have "surfaced" overnight...she looked pretty darn healthy at the MTV awards, sashaying down that red carpet.

So tired of reading about Paris Hilton's apparent luck. Compared to the laws we have for DUI in BC right now, she got off freakin' easy.

Then again, she's a "celebrity". Go figure.

I really do hope that she gets a bit more time in the correctional system. I have no sympathy for those who think they deserve less jail time simply because they're rich and well-known to the general public. Yeah, maybe she's truly contrite for her behavior, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't go through the same punishments as the rest of us. You break it, you deal with it.

</rant> :P

Is coke withdrawal a medical condition?

Yeah, I heard that last night on the news. Her court time was at 9 am Pacific time, so we should be hearing the outcome pretty soon....

9 am on Paris's time means she'll probably show up at noon.

I would suppose it is. Was it? Was that her cause of "suffering"? If so, wouldn't that be cause for additional charges, such as illegal durg charges? Just curious. So are you saying you agree with the change in venue for her *jail* sentence?

Well, it was written more tongue-in-cheek than anything. Obviously I'm not speculating that La Hilton has an issue with cocaine usage, perish the thought. I'm merely asking whether, hypothetically, withdrawal from said narcotic would constitute a medical condition...

As for her sentence, I couldn't give a flying fart, quite honestly.

I heard that she wasn't eating and throwing up in the cells.

on this other site (Yahoo answers) they are talking about this and some people think she got out because she is white and rich.... she got out because she is famous and rich, I don't think it has anything to do with the colour of her skin
