But there comes a time you take responsibility for yourself as an adult. A lot of people didn't have such great role models, yanno?

I find it hysterical! Money can't buy everything, apparently.... I bet she never thought she'd go in a million years... M.

True...but many of those people are forced to live in the real world...not one with no responsibilty whatsoever.

She will never grow up because she won't ever have to. But her parents should have instilled it in her anyway.

I have no sympathy for her at all. Famous or not, she isn't above the law.

I think it's really sad, actually.

I think it's sad the way her family's raised her...to feel like she's above this sort of thing & whatnot. Hell, I watched the simple life once in the beginning, and neither girl knew how to cash a check.

I understand she has more money than pretty much everyone, but her parents failed massively at making her an all-around adult.

Exactly. Read her mom's reaction to the judge. Prime example of why Paris thinks she's entitled to different treatment (and why she's likely messed up to begin with).

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Yes, I just saw that on the news...I agree with it, ignorance is not an excuse...the judge would not do it for me, therefore she should not get a break either.

It's nice to see the law working for once... I have very little respect for those who drive drunk AND are completely not sorry about it.

But.... driving drunk is FUN

it killed more friends of mine than I can count...so even joking about it aint cool

she's getting what she deserves as far as i'm concerned. i'm tired of seeing celebrities get a free pass because of who they are and how much money they have! (and why the hell did this girl become a celebrity in the first place? for being a drunken party #######? lol)

ohhh and to think of her in a lynwood jail..........SO GHETTO in that area! i'm kind of surprised about the location choice. poor paris... NOT!

Perhaps she would've been better off if she were an illegal alien?
