you don't know what you're missing! ;) they are way better than beef ribs! lol

You know every once in a while I crave bacon, so I go to Whole Foods and get this really good thick turkey bacon that has black pepper around it. It's just *not* the same though. I've never tried beef ribs....do they really taste that different? I used to LOVE marinating pork ribs in olive oil, tons of garlic, salt pepper and lemon and then grilling them. YUM. :(

yeah, they taste nothing alike. i've had good beef ribs (rare) but usually they are tough and really don't compare imho. pork ribs melt off the bone if cooked correctly. *drool. don't tell this to a texan though... they love their beef bbq!

and yah, turkey bacon sucks compared to the real thing too. but in your situation, it could definitely help a craving a little! personally i think muslims and jews need to rethink their pork ban. but thats a whole other topic. ;) not that i haven't gone wayyyy off topic here either.
