I-130 Part 3. Address where the beneficiary intends to live

I am a US citizen filling out the I-130 for my wife. We have lived outside the US for the last 8 years and plan to move to the US next year so I can start a new job. We do not have an address in the US where we intend to live yet. Is it okay to put N/A for the I-130 question 12a, Street Number and Name where the beneficiary intends to live? We know the city, state and zip code, but we do not have a place to live yet because we know this visa process will take a long time. 

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

N/A means "not applicable" which is not a good answer for that question. She will be living somewhere! You can put "to be decided" or "unknown at this stage" which would be more appropriate. You can also put the address of a relative where you will be staying temporarily when you arrive until you get your own place. 

 

They don't hold you to it. They don't stop by in the middle of the night you make sure you are sleeping there.
