I am looking at completing the I-751. When it says list your children, I presume I have to list my husbands children (my step-daughters) and my own daughter from a previous marriage and that this section does not apply to children of "this" marraige only?

I looked at my passport and I do not have a I-551 stamp in it, I understand that I have to send a copy of the page with the stamp on it. I never got a I-551 stamp so I am presuming that this isnt a problem.

I also have to send a copy of the I-797 Approval notice. My I-797 is a "Notice Of Action" The welcome to America Letter. Is this what is required? I also have a I-797D which states my application has been approved and my Green Card was attached to it.

Thanks

You list your biological children from current and previous marriage.

You entered the USA on a K-1 so you wont have an I-551 stamp in it. The Conditional Green card is the I-551.

You file I-751 within 90 days of the expiration of your conditional Green-Card (I-551)

jill,

My wife listed my children by a previous marriage on her I-751, for the reason that you give. The question does say list all your children, no exclusions mentioned, and my children are as much her stepchildren as her child is my stepchild.

You do not have to send a photocopy of a passport page having an "I-551 stamp" on it. There is no such thing anyway. I-551 is the green card, the stamp is not an I-551.

Thanks for your replies. My GC doesnt expire until Oct 2007 but I will be going to the UK July-Aug and I thought that I would start getting stuff together and look at the I-751 so that I am ready to mail when I return in mid Aug.

YuAndDan,

On what basis do you add the qualifier "biological" when the USCIS specified "all"?

I-551 is the green card, conditional or not. Let's not go giving people the idea that a green card withoug conditions is something other than an I-551.
