Starting June 27th Spirit Airlines is flying to Lima from Fort Lauderdale Florida for around $467.00. and if you have money to burn 1st class is around $847.00

I tried searching for the $88.00 fares they are offering with no luck. The .8 cent and $8.00 fares are sold out...

They are also going to fly from NY to Lima for around $671.00

Well i see your Add but let me tell you you are wrong, Spirit airlines fly from Ft lauderdale to Lima for $169 each way regular bassis you can find seats with that price alot, now i seach in august and is in $130 each way($260 round trip), of course i prefer to fly in spirit then in LAN "PERU" (CHILE) because they make too much abuse with the monopoly in the route, they are asking until the 27 of June $750 for a ticket to Lima from Miami and $980 from Lima to Miami, because until that date they are alone with American Airlines same ONE WORLD PROGRAM no body claim for this abuse, they try to take your money because they are the only one offer a direct fly between both cities, now i have the option and everybody have the option and everyone want to fly in Spirit because is alot more cheap then the other ones, I think all the peruvian peoples have to concienticent that LAN is a CHILEAN airline they want to take the money of all peruvians like me with the most highers prices to fly on this route, i know too much peruvians in South Florida and they want to start flying in Spirit.

After the 27 of June LAN offer a prices like $484 round trip ticket, but i dont want to fly anymore with thems, because they allready make the abusse and every peruvian peoples know that and they want to change to another option like spirit.

Very good to the people of spirit and i know they take the attention of all peruvians and they have a very good benefits with this route, and they have to take out of competiton LAN.

I Fly to Lima 7 times a Year we are like 90 peoples in our friends group and 90% peruvians, everyboby now fly in Spirit not in LAN.

MR. LAN you have to lower your price if you dont want to go out of bussines in the route beetween Miami-Lima.

PD. another TIP LAN CHARGE you $259 (ROUND TRIP BASSIS) for a CHILD..............SPIRIT DOESNT charge for a CHILD in his Fly to LIMA from FT Lauderdale SO IS GOOD TO KNOW child in both airlines until 2 years old have to fly in your same seat, difference LAN abusse you and charge you for that child.

That is definitely a plus for anyone flying there. American just matched that fare they have 358.00 round trip after the 27th from Miami to Lima. When a child flies, the price that LAN/AA/Continental charge for a lap child is taxes only. That is requiered by the government and it is based on how much the adult ticket price was. For 358.00 round trips the baby tax will only be like 115.00. Spirit will charge that too, they just arent publicizing it. A baby traveling in your lap will not be free on Spirit or anyone else. The problem is on Spirit/LAN/AA or any of them, they only make like 25% of the tickets available in the lowest prices. I'm moving soon to Ft. Lauderdale so this will be interesting to see how many people use the Spirit flights.

Spirit Airlines to Peru will do very very well from Fort Lauderdale. I think every Spirit flight will be full.

You have many many Peruvians that live here in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale area and it gives them another option besides American and Lan. Right now the flights from Miami to Lima on those 2 airlines are always full.

Leaving from Fort Lauderdale is so much better, less traffic, less people to deal with and imigration is so much easier.

It's about time they had another airline player in that market, as Peru has become a very popular desination for tourists as well.

I'm peruvian too, and I have always use Lan...not because of the price but only because of the service..it's not a matter of "because THEY'RE CHILEAN"..I think that the people that like to have a ver yg reat customer service used to pay high prices for airline tickets...let's the market begin growing...Actually, peruvians, don't only have the choice of Lan, they also have American, Copa, etc.

Welcome Spirit.....hope they can have a very great service as Lan does.

Comparing flights on Travelocity--it would appear that American Airlines is beating Spirit's rate, by about 50 dollars. And then LAN is just a 60 dollars more than Spirit. So I don't see where there is a big savings on Spirit.

Mr. American Airlines and Mr. Lan realized that $650 to $750 from Miami to Lima was a little high when Spirit was about half that.............. so I guess they lowered their prices over the last 2 weeks so they wouldn't loose out........... About time
