Hmmmm, I'd be wanting to kill him right about now, LOL!!!

Not much else you can do other than re-group and prepare yourself for Sunday. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly on Sunday now that he has at least gone through part of the procedure before (getting into the embassy etc) and has found out that things aren't so scary now.

Insha'allah, it will be good news on Sunday!!

Catherine

The ladies are right. You just pull yourselves together and go through this again in a few days. Perhaps he will be even more relaxed since he was partly there already. Good Luck!!

Ohhhhh nooooooooo ! :bonk:

Well I'm sure Mohammed feels even worse about it than you do. At least they made a new appointment pretty quick, and won't make you wait months or something like that. So sorry for the delay and the extra hassle and worry. But I think Catherine and Doreen are right... he'll probably be more relaxed now since he already "knows his way."

Insha'allah everything will go very smoothly the second time around. Praying for a big success on Sunday !! * Hugs * :luv:

He said the same thing. He'll be much more relaxed this time. He was so tired and so nerved up he could hardly function. Sunday he should be ready to kick some butt. I will be ok too. I could have never foreseen just how stressful this really is when it comes down to the wire. Wow.

The one thing I will say... this is a real opportunity to strengthen that bond in a relationship. I wasn't angry with him. I knew how freaked he was and he was just trying way too hard. Part of being human. And yes THANK GOD it's only 2 days and not 2 months. I was shocked they allowed him back so quickly. I even had him double check his gate letter. LOL.

You ladies are true saints. Thank God for all of you. I had no one else to sit with during the worst of that. You helped me so much.

Now... I'll try not to be such a big BABY Sunday.

Oh NOOOO!!! That's the kind of thing my (now) husband would do, I was amazed he didn't forget anything for his interview. He *did* show up too late for his plane ride home, though, so he had to take another plane 5 days later (I thought I would kill him). Oh well, we can't help loving these men of ours, can we...

Thank goodness the reschedule is just for Sunday, that's not bad at all.

Hugs,

Sharon

Stupid me! I didn't even read the page before I posted this morning. Oh goodness, his nerves were rattled, so he forgot the paper, yep, maybe the delay was for a good reason. Well, you will just have to get on the phone before he leaves for his interview and remind him of EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

It's the receipt for the fee he has to pay when he submits his packet to the Embassy so the interview can be scheduled. The bank in Egypt that handles it is the CIB bank.

Yeah I know it. But then I remember those big dark eyes and hear his voice and I would jump in front of a truck for him, so again I will sit and eat myself alive. His interviewer had no problem with him, she even called in the evening to be sure he understood he had to come back on Sunday. I was a bit shocked by that. I guess that's a good indication of how frazzled he was.
