Received Noa2and Approved I129F.

National Visa letter saying file moved to Amman. Was completed and sent on 12/16/05.

Received packet from embassy at my attorney's January 15, 2006

Packet mailed to my husband on January 22, 2006

Packet received by embassy on February 5, 2006.

Embassy called in April and set the interview date for August 23, 2006

Embassy called on 7-25 and asked Faisal to interview on 7-26 (nervous wreck but prepared)

7-26-06 Faisal is approved for K3 Visa

8-24-06, Faisal arrives at O'Hare Airport!!!!!!!

EAD filed in middle of September, 2006 approved in middle of October, 2006 and husband working

at end of October, 2006!

AOS I485

5-2-07- Noa1 on AOS

5-18-07-fingerprinting completed

5-25-07-letter received from USCIS from Missouri asking for proof of income from cosponsor.

AOS INTERVIEW SET FOR SEPTEMBER 5, 2007 IN CHICAGO

October 13, 2005 Petition left for NVC, where on our way now

October 14, 2005 Touched Again. I don't get it

October 27, Petition Shipped to Embassy

October 31, Embassy received petition

November 1, Embassy called to set up fingerprint appointment

November 4, Fingerprint appointment

November 23, Fingerprint check results came in - Thumbs up

December 28, embassy tells us they screwed up

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

Arrived in the US - May 27, 2006 (our IR-1 visa journey was 2 years and 2 months long)

Wedding - June 17th, 2006

It's a Girl ! Baby Hana's expected due date - March 30th, 2007

Wow! What a lovely surprise. I opened the forum just now and found this thread. I immediately broke down in tears. They're still streaming. Bad thing is, I'm sitting at my desk at work. Ha ha. Hopefully I can pull myself together before everyone else gets back from lunch.

This is hard. This is probably the hardest thing I've had to face in my life, and I'm no youngster. Mohammed phoned me at noon and he is a mess. He was tearful. I hope he can relax himself enough to get some sleep and to be coherent and not foaming at the mouth at the embassy tomorrow. I am drowning myself in my work but my hands are shaking constantly. We just want to be together again. It's been 10 months since I left Egypt. He feels so close to me today yet so bloody far away. Well, you all know the sentiments too well.

Thanks so much for holding my hand through these last several hours. I wish he was able to see all your lovely thoughts. Enshaa Allah. It's all I can say. Just enshaa allah. COME ON ALLAH, BRING MY BABY HOME TO ME!!!! :cry:

Hahaha. I LOVE the little dancing fuzzy guys!! I'm sitting here crying and laughing. My coworkers will definitely keep a respectful distance from my cubicle today I think.

I wish that I had thought about having my Ahmed call your Mohammed earlier . . . but Ahmed has gone off to get some sleep. I think he must have stayed up all night the night before . . .lol!!! 10pm is waaaaaay too early for him to go to bed. But I think he is trying to do a lot before he comes to the States.

Insha'allah, Mohammed will get some sleep so he can show up at the Embassy bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, LOL!!! I know it is hard, but he will be OK and so will you!
