Thanks for sharing.  It isn't a bad thing to warn people to be wary.  What we are doing is meeting, falling in love, marrying and hopefully living a full life with someone from as far as half way around the earth.  Those warnings are good.  We all need to go into this with our eyes open.  I am sorry that happened to you.

Thank you so much... it was the true point of it all...

It warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes to know you found your happiness... you all look so happy together.

That was what I wanted to much...

All the Best!!

      Hey Steve!

.. rock on dude!

Hey HANK!

You'll love this one...My YOUNG wife and I (the OLD dude) were in the car a few weeks ago listening to "classic rock." Joan starts singing along to an old Alice Cooper song. I said to her: "Do you know this song?" "Of course" she says. The sad thing is I DIDN'T know the song!!!

To the OP: my apologies...the gross insults from another responder to your post took over. I am sorry that you went and are going through this. I do hope you find some peace in what happens next for you.

Over the years I have learned to ignore "those opinions" ..  as you and so many others know .. not the reality.

It is sad when couples fail as with the OP.. and I know of a number of others that went down this path .. but I know many more that are all smiles.

Yes, I too know a few "bad apples" (on both sides) but many more very happy couples...and like you, I am usually good at holding my tongue with "those opinions," but I bit this time. Insult me all you want..call me a geezer or whatever, but don't overgeneralize on the basis of a minority and insult my relationship or especially my asawa. OK rant over. As mentioned, my thoughts and best wishes go out to the OP.
