I have a quick question directed to anyone who has applied for a K1 fiance visa for the UK at the London embassy regarding the affidavit of support. Ok, I know I need a bank letter to go with it however the problem is they won't actually write a letter it's just a standard one they have that pulls up my amount and when the account was opened and the bank officer signed it. She said the best she could do is print up a statement showing how much has been deposited in the last 6 months if I needed to go further back I would have to print off all bank statements showing EVERYTHING. It isn't a problem but it's going to be a lot of unnecessary paper work. If I included everything else with it as far as tax returns, etc would that be enough or would they deny him the visa if I don't have that the entire year?

Would imagine 6 mo would be more then enough. Also, have a letter from employer, 2 yrs of taxes returns or tax transcripts.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I already have all that :)

I just don't want them denying him for something so small and technical. I've heard it's a very easy embassy.

Hi everyone ! I wanted to ask a quick question about affidavit of support just because I like being extra cautious and careful.

"household number" refers to dependencies if i'm not mistaking? Meaning that although I live with my mother my household number is only 1 and her household number is 2 because her taxes only claims my brother? (im independent) So when she becomes our joint sponsor she will have to meet the guidelines for a household of 3 people? Thanks! any other tips are appreciated as well :)

Where did you find that? Because on the embassy site it says a form i134 is needed for the K1 interview at the embassy phase.

I wish I could help you more but I don't want to send you in the wrong direction...that all sounds right to be honest but I fortunately don't need a cosponsor so I'm to sure.

Not on her own income, but with my income we would be well past it. I'm going through rapidvisa and was a bit confused because when they did the paperwork summary they combined our incomes to show the total household income but it was my understanding that we couldn't do that

That link is referring to the I-864 not the I-134

Each individual Embassy/Consulate will decide for themselves if an I-134 will be required to be submitted to them.  Most do, a few don't
