It is current, and it was thrown out, but the NYTimes like Alex Jones gets sued regularly.

the nyt issues corrections when they print something incorrect. alex jones/infowars has never printed or aired anything stating that the parents of sandy hook victims are anything other than crisis actors.

I don't think you can even call him "news".

 

CNN has made errors in its news reporting, and even more frequently displays bias in its news reporting. So does Fox, and pretty much every other major newscaster. At the end of the day though they are still reporting news, however flawed it may be.

 

Alex Jones doesn't report news. He reports conspiracies and snake oil.

You are correct, Alex Jones is just an opinion hawk like a Samantha Bee, or Colbert, not really a news source and it is sad if anyone is using them as a news source.

neither samantha bee or colbert has ever claimed sandy hook was a false flag, or repeatedly stated that the parents of the victims were merely actors.

If someone makes a claim, it is typically up to them to provide evidence for that claim.

 

So if you claimed something about CNN it should be you searching the archive to defend your claim, not someone else.
