Attended the interview today and got the visa approval. Yay! So glad this road is almost over.

The interview went quickly and smoothly, I answered about 5 questions on my job duties and my employer, and my wife was asked when we got married. In total we spent under 2 hours in the embassy, waiting in lines most of this time.

Wish you guys get your interviews soon and they go as swiftly as mine was.

How long after you mailed your documents through Fedex did you get a case complete from the NVC?

Six days. It took 1 day for the documents to arrive, 2 days to get them scanned, and 3 days for NVC to complete the case.

NVC replied "The [September] retrogression will not affect this visa category in this chargeability area", meaning EB-3 in ROW.

My interview remains to be scheduled, so I just have to sit tight and wait some more 🙂

Hello spiderweb,I am Nigerian,I completed my Ds260 forms,it is showing completed on the portal, but no indicator to submit civil documents, not sure of how to proceed.

Were you able to submit supporting documents after completing the forms or am I doing it the wrong way.

Pray you get interview date soon.

Hey Heph,

I’m sorry I can’t really help because my petitioner submitted the supporting documents and I’m not sure how. I did notice that there was no link and I believe the documents were mailed to the NVC (I have a document cover sheet in a CC’d email). Maybe that’s what you need to do?

Good luck!

All employment-based visas require mailing the physical documents. Electronic processing via PIVOT is available only for family immigrants and only in certain embassies.

I just found this video from youtube that shows how you can track if the NVC sent your documents to your local embassy, pretty clever

I tried this trick now that you brought it up again, and it worked this time!

I called the NVC Tuesday morning (US time) and the tracking tool shows the delivery was created later that day. It should reach Helsinki later today.
