Hello all - - I need to get a copy of passport photo I can upload on my ds160.

I have pictures but they are not 'digital' - does anyone know where in manila I can go to get digital US Visa Photo pictures taken so I can do this step.

I looked online but not having any luck

I assumed you just scan them

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

Most of the passport photo shops will give you a digital copy, you need to bring a USB for them to transfer the photo.

You can go to Great Image, if you get their US Visa photo package they include a CD containing your photos along with the print out. I think every SM has them.

Two Fridays ago my fiance had her interview in Manila. She had a set of photos that I thought fit all the restrictions but the interviewer said they would not scan in.

She says that the interviewer told her to go to the photographer in the waiting area.

She tells me "inside the US embassy there is a photographer there who will take your photo for 80 peso."

She did this, but did not have 80 peso, so she had to leave, get 80 peso from her aunt who had her handbag outside. It took half an hour to go outside, get 80 peso, get in line, come back in, and have her photo taken. The photographer gave her 5 photos.

She gave one to the interviewer who then interviewed and approved her.

The photos that I had given her were professional ones, but they were a bit pale, so a higher contrast photo might be needed.

I would not try to scan a photo on a home quality printer or try to print one.

Good luck.
