Interview fee - US dollars or local currency used

I wasn't able to find this specific answer, but does anyone know if the interview fee of $265 is supposed to be paid in US dollars or local currency?

look at the website from your interview embassy. at least here in Kiev it was in local currency, not U$D

Since it gets paid to a bank as an agent, most likely in local currency in USD equivalent.  The instruction packet from the Embassy will likely have all the information you need once the petition gets on post

Thanks, I went to the US Embassy in Algeria website, it just says "Pay your visa fees at an Aramex service center" but doesn't specify currency.  I guess we will know for sure when we get the instructions.
