Hey guys!

I am doing adjustment of status and I already had my AP approved last december, I am planning to return to Canada to finally pack my stuff and take them down to USA.
I am going to make multiple trips (twice) in the next 60 days because

1.I will be starting my job in two months and I have to settle stuff in Canada now the chance and time to do things.
2.Going for a honeymoon in Europe

Is there a limit on how many times I can use my Combo Card within a short timeframe? Is it a bad idea?

Appreciate your input

Thanks!

No limit i believe you just cant leave for more than 1 year (total trips)

Also you want to make sure you get your mail incase you get a letter for an interview (you dont want to miss that otherwise you can abandon your application)

Also if you are outside of the country and for some reason your adjustment of status is denied or abandoned they may deny entry but I wouldn't worry too much about that..

Have fun! thats what AP is for. travel!

AP is either single use or multiple use. Multiple use has no limits on how many times you can use it. AP obtained due to a pending AOS application will be multiple use.

Entry is always at the discretion of the CBP officer. If it looks like you are living abroad and abandoned your application for permanent residency, they may deny entry. In practicality, this is quite uncommon unless they find hard evidence supporting this conclusion. Assuming you aren't leaving for very long periods of time, committing crimes abroad, or something else that you already shouldn't be doing anyway, you should be fine. Enjoy the trip.

Thank you so much kabayan!

Thank you for the kind words! I was on the team that built the Informed Delivery application (and work with the mobile apps for it now). I'll relay the appreciation to the team.

What happens if I'm not sure I applied for multitple or one entry? I'm with a pending AOS and I'm worried GC won't arrive on time so I'd have to use combo card couiple of times

The combo card would be multiple entry. AP for single use will be noted as such when you receive it (if you receive that instead of a combo card).

AP due to AOS should be multiple use, though.
