But my children are what tie me to my country they are little and they depend on me. Wouldn't that be enough?

A lot of people abandon their children in other countries for years and then try getting them to the US later. Sad but true.

I understand but also if I do again while I'm married. Will still get denied? A job is hard to find here in Guyana; how about I make an beauty salon in my house would that be a plus or that is still not enough? I apologize if I'm asking dumb questions just trying to learn. Thanks again for ya replies.

Unfortunately, I think you just answered your own question. Since jobs are hard to find in Guyana, you are going to the US to find a job and stay with your sister.

We never know the full situation but seems odd when money seems right to spend it on a US vacation.

And leaving the children behind. Surely a trip to see family members would involve the children? After all, the sister is paying and I'm sure she'd love to see the children, her nieces/nephews. I can't imagine saying to my brother "I'm sending the money for you to visit me but leave the children behind."

This Thread is good example of how the B visa is understood to be  a valid path to immigration.   My GF  really was  only coming for a few weeks and she had substantial ties to her part of the world.   I could not understand at first why  VJ people were so 'testy' about my asking for advice about B visas. Of course we were denied!

After a few years of struggling  through  the  K1  process, I now understand why some  VJ'ers  have an attitude toward Newbies asking about B visas.  There's a long line to get in the USA and it's rude and simply not fair to cut ahead of other people who have the same dreams and needs.

So because you and your GF were denied and now struggling with K1 it's rude and unfair?

I am adjusting from a B2 with more than enough proof that immigration was not intended. My dream is far from living in the US.

Hoe do you prove a negative?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
