What I read from NVC thread is that some people have received their case and invoice # a couple of days shy of 6 weeks recently. So hopefully you and I will receive them in early April 😉

I got my case # and paid both fees today! Check your email if you haven’t yet! 😇

Yeah, I also received the case # by email and have just paid! I’m so surprised we got the case # less than 5 weeks! Hope our coming process will be as smooth and fast as this. 😄

Sure hope so! Our case has been seeing updates at literally about the same times! Such a coincidence.

Hey all!

My priority date was 04/19/ 2018

I JUST received my welcome letter and got accepted. My interview with my husband was in March 2019 and our interview location was in Philadelphia, Pa. It was nerve wracking but we didn’t have anything to worry about. Super simple and we were organized which they appreciated.

My I-130 and I-485 got approved- they are sending me my green card. I got approved on 03/29/2019. I should receive my green card in about 2 weeks.

A little about my case- I’m on DACA, I married my husband(United States Citizen) in 2017 and we applied in 2018 for my residency. Got approved this year and now waiting for my green card. I’m pretty sure we will have the special conditions green card since we got approved before our 2 year anniversary. My husband and I have been together since 2014. We will see. Any questions let me know!

Good luck on the journey and God bless you all. I wish you all the best!

What’s the process after the NVC stage? Does my overseas spouse receive a package with the required checklist prior to the scheduled interview?

They should send an interview notice after you get the biometric stage done (usually right after you’ve sent the petition in). I waited almost a year for the interview notice and on there will be a list of everything you will need to bring. Remember you could never bring not enough. It’s better to be prepared than them asking for a document and not having it. That just delays the process. I got the interview notice almost a month before the interview. Hope this helps.... Every case is different so stay positive!
