Hey April filers. For all of you who haven't got approval yet, hang in there. I've seen some desperate souls who worry they have been left behind, but so far everyone seems to get their approval eventually. You time will be soon!

For anyone interested: we just received our case number at the NVC. It tooks 6 weeks.

Hi. Was it 6 weeks from the time your case was received at the NVC or 6 weeks from the time you got your approval?

Mine was approved on 11/20 and left the Texas center on 11/28. I’ve called the past two weeks and nothing yet. Hoping I get lucky and NVC receives it and I get case number soon.

6 weeks from when the case was received from the NVC, and about 8 from i130 approval. Mine took just over 2 weeks for the NVC to receive it after USCIS sent it :( good luck! This part definitely seem easier than the i130 wait

In my hard copy approval letter it states they have sent my petition to NVC.  Is this standard and I have to wait for them to actually send it, or did they really send it already?  I called USCIS but they just said to inquire with NVC.  I guess my next step is to call NVC but I feel it is too early as our approval was just on the 4th.  My status on both USCIS sites is still case received so no help there.  How long should I wait before inquiring with NVC?  I plan on expediting at NVC due to health issues that my wife can help with. I have a signed letter from the doctor asking as much. I have an upcoming trip to the Philippines last week of January and I would like to be present at the interview.  My understanding is that this can be done as soon as the NVC receives the case, no need to wait for case number.  Anyone have experience expediting at NVC for Manila Embassy?

Hi

just found this site and it’s given me a little comfort that I’m not the only one that has had to wait without any real information from the USCIS

Application was received 23rd April 18

Ive had a few alerts on the USCIS mobile app recently but they give no info.

Missing my wife badly , just hope the alerts mean that somebody is actually now looking at our paperwork

Good luck to the rest of you who are still waiting.🤞

You can start calling once a week to see if NVC has received your petition. It took a little over a week for them to receive mine.

This is getting ridiculous. My I130 will be outside normal processing times on 12/15. They responded to my inquiry on the I129F and said they'll take action within 60 days.

I130 at TSC

NOA1: 04/16

I129F at TSC

NOA1: 05/04

Response to my inquiry:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.
