Hi! So as of 11/20/18 USCIS app has updated and now stated that MY CASE WAS SENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE 🤗

Do I have to do anything in some point? I am completely nervous and excited at the same time! Good luck to all of us!

Congrats.

Welcome to the NVC stage. in 4-8 weeks they will assign you a case number and notify you. If you like, you can also call the NVC every few days after 3 or 4 weeks have passed to see if they have assigned a case number but just haven't notified you yet.

Hi, I’m a April filer as well. Filing for my husband. We both live outside the US now.

I-140 sent: 4/6/2018

I-130 received: 4/9/2018

Email notification and check cashed: 4/13/2018

Nebraska

NSC is a well known slow service center, I hope they will process faster now. Good luck to everyone. :)

Hey, receiving a new case number can take 4-6 weeks.

you can call NVC once a week to double check but they’ll tell you that it takes 4-6 weeks.

good luck

So after approval notice of i130 approval , how long it took to get your nvc letter and case number in the mail?

We haven’t received a new case number just yet.

Nvc has received our files from USCIS and you’ll only find out if NVC received it by calling them.

To receive the new case number by Nvc it can take approx 4-6 weeks.

Hello Everyone! First time here. Filed i130 for my spouse 4/12/18 as Permanent Resident. Upgraded to citizen IR1 in June. Petition was sent to CSC. After the upgrade I don’t know where this petition is being processed. There is no listed time for IR1 at CSC. Hoping to get approved soon. Any thoughts on how I can find out where this petition is?
