If u r not a US citizen ...then it will be forwarded to CSC...LRP takes about 2yrs and during that period if u become US citizen u can upgrade your petition...but for now CSC is your base

I’m not a US citizen yet, so I guess that why it ended up in CSC. I do have the N-400 pending so hopefully it will be moved closer.

Lol, wait till your at my timeframe for waiting then your allowed to complain. Almost 8 months.

I just see others being approved in under 6 months and it’s a little infuriating not knowing how much longer. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for those couples but I wish I had their luck. We can complain together!

I wish it was first come first served kinda thing but its like a lottery. I just contacted tier 2 officer, and the officer said my case is still under review. 😔

Requested an expedite though my California Senator, Kamala Harris. My senator’s office informed me today that USCIS had approved my I-130 and would be forwarding my case to NVC. They said I should get my NOA2 in 3-5 days. As it’ll forward to Paraguay where I’m residing throughout August, it’ll be more like 2-3 weeks. Our situation is very specific however so I don’t think my lessons learned will apply to many others unfortunately.

@ChrisJay11 hey, can I ask what was your reason to expedite. I want to know if perhaps I could do the same in my case. And how did you contact your senator about it? It would be of so much help if you could let me know.

I spoke with Tier 2 officer about my case and surprisingly she said US citizen case takes anywhere between 5to 7 months...I was little surprised as to the website says 7to 9.5 months...confusing ...but anyway she said the file is on somebody’s desk and it will get it’s turn soon...BTW PD 4/24..NSC..

Yes the websites processing times have gone up. So weird, I’d love to know how/in what order they process cases.

My NOA1 is 04/06 Texas SC so exactly 6 month.

Fingers crossed we’ll get approval soon!

@Savan @The Rock ll how easy is it to get in contact with them?

The customer rep was nice enough to transfer me to Tier 2 officer without any issues...and then I was told I will get a call back from USCIS and which I got it with in 15 minuets...officer was nice and said to just wait for a little as it was at somebody’s desk to be processed...so just hoping soon would be the best answer I got...

Anyone approved from California? Live in Texas but application was sent to California for some reason.

My case is in CSC (PD: 4/18/2018), my husband submitted the petition while he was LPR. Last month we filed Form I-485 after he naturalized, not sure how fast they will approve the petition.
