You seem to have many connections, and you also get to talk to officers that get very specific answers instead of the scripts they always read, and on top of that you're a newbie user in the forums.

I call this one BS

I read so many post here that people been approved and I’m tracking some numbers between my case and people keep been approved , I agreed with you lol

I mean even if they're interviewing everyone, doesn't matter to us, nothing to be afraid of. They are probably asking the validity of marriage again.

Its just travelling to the field center can be troublesome for some of those who are working.

Having interviews are better than waiting with no news of it.

I spoke with a tier 2 officer this evening, and without hesitation she said that the policy did indeed change a few months ago. However, they were slow to initiate the change, so before they did they have been approving as many apps as they could. Now at this point all i-751's will require an interview. She said the timeline may increase and officers are not very thrilled about it (they also don't have local office timelines as of right now)

I'll be waiting for your apology :)

Maybe. I doubt they have the resources. We've been waiting since August 2016 and know the case has been at the Seattle office for over six months. There's no way they can reasonably interview everyone, let alone within six months.

I've also been waiting since Sept 16, 2016 with local office Seattle too. I know I'm expecting an interview as my ROC and N-400 will be combined.

And I'll be waiting for your official sources, saying you "just talked to them" is not official. Until USCIS doesn't announce any policy change, this is very unlikely to happen.

They can barely handle their current workload where they interview a minority of applicants. To do this, they would have to go on a mass hiring and training spree with the money they don't even have to pay for overtime.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I never realised they did not interview everybody, they interviewed all K1's when I came through, found out that the EV categories seemed to get a pass but those are fairly small numbers.

The USCIS "customer support" is called the misinformation line for a reason. Unfortunately you can't believe what they tell you, they would actually say anything just to make you hang up the phone.

They simply gave you the wrong information. What the future will bring we don't know yet.

We filed for ROC September 2013 and were approved January 2014 with no interview. We also didn't have an interview for AOS. I know there were other K-1s that applied for ROC around the same time that we did who didn't have an interview.

When did you do your K-1? I know I've seen you on this forum for years, but your timeline isn't filled out.

Can we please not spread false information here.

1. The wording has never been "moved" to local office - it's RECEIVED at local office. However, it is not moved out of the original CSC/VSC filing location unless they inform you in writing (and they will state exactly where it was moved).

2. The majority of people have been getting approved without interviews.

3. The local offices do not have the ability to do so many interviews in such a short time, they are already incredibly backlogged.
