Hello,

I am a US citizen living outside of the USA (UK). My fiance and I are wanting to get married and then apply to for change of status to reside in Miami, FL, USA.

We are in the process of filling the i129f form, my question is;

Do we let them know we want to reside right after getting married or is this not worth mentioning for this application?

I appreciate any response.

Thank you,

Diego

Marry and do DCF

Much much quicker.

And a better solution.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

We are planning to get married in the US using the Fiance Visa

Are you in the military? (Hope you don't mind me asking).
How come you don't want to get married in the UK and then apply for spouse visa instead?
