Visa was approved. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll submit a review after I talk to Paul again later today to get the rest of the details, but here is a bit of a synopsis:

He arrived at 9:30am to the consulate in Frankfurt and there was a long line outside. He finally got inside around 10:00am. They called his number and he went to the first booth, I'm assuming where they asked him for the evidence of support and other paperwork. He didn't have another passport style photo with him (he had given 3 of the photos to the doctor at the medical exam, not sure why 3), but they have a photo booth there that he was able to use and buy a photo on the premises to give to them. :D Then he said he got called to the windows 2 more times (not sure what the second time was for maybe to give the passport photo to them, but the 3rd was the actual interview). He got to the window, and the officer looked through our photos (not the million that he brought with him, but only the ones we sent in our original package to USCIS). He asked him how we met. Paul said that our parents are friends. Then Paul said he started asking a lot more questions about our parents and how they know each other than about us :P First, he told them that my dad and grandparents are German and our parents met each other and became friends when we were visiting my German side of the family, but that didn't satisfy the officer and he asked but how exactly did your parents meet each other. So, he told them that we were all the same religion and we went to the same church as his family when we were in Germany...Finally, the officer was satisfied ;) He told him that he is approved and will receive his visa next week. :D :D :D

The whole thing only took 2 hours, so not too bad.

I'm so so so unbelievably relieved and happy. :D

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D

07/20/2007 Social Security Card arrived

01/18/2009 PCS-ing to Stuttgart Germany

Feb 2009 Received letter from VSC to start removing conditions.
