Hello all,

I’m gearing up for my K1 interview at Montreal soon. My American fiancé is self employed. Fortunately, his income more than meets the 125% poverty requirement. My question is, he just filed his taxes today. He has copies of what he submitted which was prepared by his bookkeeper (sorry I can’t give a specific name for these forms). I understand it takes 6 weeks from filing to get an IRS transcript, so I’m worried that my interview will come before I can get my hands on that. Will the copies of his taxes that he has now suffice? Or does it absolutely have to be the transcript? Also, would it be a good idea to take a copy of his business license or is that unnecessary? Thank you all in advance for always being so helpful!
