Rioting in the streets is the wet dream of the left. They are pinning all their hopes on Trump firing Mueller before it comes out that Mueller has nothing related to Russian collusion and has wasted millions of dollars. This is exactly why Trump will never fire Mueller. Keep dreamimg lefties.

The left now wants Mueller to be fired? That seems a bit of a 180.

From my perspective it seems like pretty much no one (except maybe Trump) wants Mueller fired. People on the left have not been the only ones to comment that doing so would be a bad decision for Trump.

Though now I hear he may be eyeing Rosenstein. You know one of those horribly corrupt people appointed by someone who was just horrible. Who appointed him again? Oh ya...

At the very least they want people convinced he will be fired soon so they can keep pushing their impeachment garbage (which by the way seems to be their platform for the mid terms). The goal from the beginning was to get Trump to fire Mueller before it's exposed that his investigation is going nowhere. We are going on close to two years and many millions spent with no evidence of Russian collusion. The left has to be getting nervous that Trump hasn't taken the bait yet nor has their plan b to entrap Trump in a process crime (answering a question wrong ect.) worked. So in short to answer your question yes the left does want Trump to fire Mueller.

The Left wants Trump to fire Mueller, I think that has been pretty obvious for some time now.  The Left suspects that Mueller really doesn't have anything related to Trump/Russian collusion, so that is a dead end to their end game (getting rid of Trump), but if they can goad him into firing Mueller (who the Left could not care less about at this time) it is another avenue to their end game.  Hopefully, Trump takes the advice of Dershowitz and ignores the Left.

Sorry guys this just seems like a shift on the right. For ages here on the forums and elsewhere I see people talking about how bad Mueller is, how the investigation should just end, how Trump should be able to just end it.

Now all of a sudden right leaning people want it to continue? Not buying it. That's called "covering your a**".

Other than jokingly ("it would be fun to watch I'd Trump fired Mueller") I haven't seen anyone on the left seriously say they want Trump to fire Mueller. Pretty much everyone just talks about how it would be bad for him (suicide, etc...).

Of course the left won't come right out and say they want Trump to fire Mueller but actions speak louder than words. The left has been hyping for months now "what if Trump fires Mueller" with no indication whatsoever Trump was even considering doing so. By the way I have never seen anyone here on the "right" saying Trump should fire Mueller. They (and myself) have pointed out the wrong things that Mueller has done and pointed out that Trump has the authority to fire him but we have also said it's better politically to let the whitch hunt play out and let every one see it for the fraud it is. I think Trump sees it the same way to the disappointment of the left.

I need a bot to save me the effort of repeated rebbuttal :

1.we are getting more in unpaid taxes and penalties than we spend , I pay my taxes so should these guys

2. Sessions recused himself for good reason and if the president had not fired Comey we would not have an independent Investigation

3. We have multiple guilty pleas and an indictment of a number of Russians who came here and messed with our systems and broke a number if laws. If they ever want to visit Europe or the US agsin they will need to face the music

4. We are far from done and Mueller has done an excellent job of not leaking anything. He has a very disciplined team and if the Trump team has broken no laws then there should be nothing to worry about....but some have already plead guilty.

If Mueller is fired you will see a large group of people left right and center take to the streets...

I see the talk about "what if" more as a reminder/threat to Trump about what would happen. Since we all know he absorbs lots of news and television, it's a good way to get a message to him. Most far left people I think truly believe Mueller has already or will find something damning. At least that's my impression.

There has definitely been a lot of talk here about wanting the investigation to end, from people who are generally Trump fans. Maybe not by way of firing Mueller but clearly you and many others here have wanted it over and done with for awhile now.

I've been consistent. I want it to just finish and want people to stop talking about it until it's over. Let's evaluate Mueller's conclusions when he is done. I hate speculation.

..but in the meantime we have seen guilty pleas from Trump team members and his campaign . The information that Russian intelligence set up shop in Dallas and broke a number of our laws is important for the public to know.

The debate in these forums is "so what, we do it too, it had no effect, Hillary did worse, people shouldn't be stupid with their systems, there is no evidence it was Russia..." strikes me as evidence that a significant part of the country (maybe up to 40%  ) has not come to terms with the risk if reoccurrence.

It is evident that we need to harden our systems, our intelligence, our news systems, our ability to think critically and more if we want a robust civic core in our beautiful country.

Let the investigation go on..Yes

Quit with the investigation tick tick tick "porn" fair enough

Sit on our hands and wait for a final report before we take action? No way.

We can talk about what is public, for sure. I'm talking more about the internal investigation for Mueller. I hate speculation about what we don't know. Mueller has been almost completely silent himself, and yet there are always dozens of articles about what he is thinking, what he is doing, what he is planning.

I agree that regardless of the investigation there is already evidence that Russia interfered more than what I think we should want or allow. The exact magnitude maybe hasn't been made fully clear yet, and the guilty on certain Americans in conspiring with them, but Russia's involvement is without question. The entire intelligence community already gave that assessment over a year ago.

Will the investigation find that Trump himself had knowledge and personally colluded? I have no idea, but my gut says probably not. I don't say that as a compliment to Trump. I actually think he will be innocent because he was likely not all that hands on during his campaign and a lot of things happened without people bothering to tell him. I think a lot of things happened without his knowledge and in this instance it will be good for him because he will be "innocent". But it's all speculation.

The House Intelligence committee may have "concluded" their investigations but it was pretty obvious fairly quickly that their investigations were a joke. We'll just have to wait and see when Mueller is done.

I know I have very little respect for Mueller based on the fact that he did not refuse the job due to all his conflicts of interest, but I don't remember at any point advocating for him to be fired.

I am fine with letting the investigation continue since it really hasn't found anything of substance relating to Trump, but I would like to see a 2nd special prosecutor appointed to look at the questions of collusion by the other side since as you say, it is important for the public to know.

It is called strategic leaking.  I think those inside the beltway have perfected it.
