Average time from K1 Visa Approval to Issued

My fiance had his interview last April 3, 2018 and was told at the USEM that his visa was approved. He was advised by the consul to expect his visa in 5-10 business days.

Checking the CEAC status reveals that it is still READY for interview but last updated April 10, 2018 but no change in status (e.g. AP or Received)

What is the average time or duration from visa approval (interview) at USEM to visa issued?

From the status ISSUED, how many more days till you can claim or pick-up passport and visa at MOA?

He only needs the CFO sticker, he already underwent the seminar weeks ago.

Thanks. Would appreciate any feedback especially for folks who had their interviews March and April 2018.

The average time is what the embassy told him; 5-10 business days.   It can take longer or be quicker.

Normally it is a day or two after issued before 2GO has the package.   You can track it with 2GO

Is it true that picking up at 2GO MOA is the fastest way to receive the passport and visa?

We chose this option after talking to K1 applicants at the CFO Seminar.

Yup.   Faster by 2-3 days on average

We already booked for his ticket leaving Manila this April 21, here’s hoping that passport and visa will be released before April 20 since he still needs to drop by CFO for the sticker.

Have you already completed CFO?

Has your CEAC status changed or is it still READY? My fiance’s status was last updated April 10, 2018 but it is still READY (for interview).

How many days till status changed to ISSUED did you receive an SMS from 2GO that passport is ready for pick-up?

There was one lady who was interviewed March 26, status changed to ISSUED as of yesterday, up until now she did not receive an SMS from 2GO. She already had a plane ticket for April 15 (Sunday) and still needs to get a CFO sticker.
