Approved I-130 but no decision after l-485 interview

I had my interview today but the officer was unable to give us a decision after the aforementioned. We didn’t file concurrently, so the l-130 was submitted first. The officer also didn’t have the file on hand. How long does it take to request the l-130 from where it was filed?

It depends on their reasons.  I am in the same boat. I had my interview on Friday - My i-130 was approved on Thursday ( day before interview) but was told at interview a decision on i-485 can not be made at this time and is being held for review.

Thank you.. I believed if I had my copy then my case would have been approved. Also my l- 130 has been approved since August of 2017
