Will Jurisdiction of Visa Service Center Change

Hello,

  I am anxiously awaiting the day I can fill my I-129f to begin my process. I have to wait for my previous divorce to get out of Nisi before I can file. I cannot file until June 13, 2018. I am anticipating a change in employment soon, but I should have the flexibility to delay until June 13 if necessary. My current service center is Vermont, which seems to be averaging about 100 days less than the Texas center. My question is this, should I wait until June 13 and submit to VSC and then move or will it be moot because if after I file it be transferred to TSC?

There is no "jurisdiction" with service centers. :P

Also note that these are USCIS service centers. USCIS does not handle visas...they adjudicate petitions. The petitions are then handed off to NVC, who will send them to the embassy/consulate to interview for a visa.

 

All I-129Fs for a fiance are sent to the Texas lockbox. From there, it will be processed at CSC (California). TSC does not process I-129Fs for a fiance, and VSC only handles specific types of I-129F cases (usually those with certain criminal histories).

4/6/2017: Received, 4/12/2017: Sent to Riyadh embassy, 4/16/2017: Case received at Riyadh embassy, 4/21/2017: Request case transfer to Manila, approved 4/24/2017

 

K-1

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
