What other documents are definitely needed to include with my affidavit of support? I have an official letter from my job stating my position and annual salary and I have my most recent W-2 forms that I filed my taxes with. Do I need to also include pay stubs? bank statements? I have a letter from my bank stating when I opened my account but it just states average balance. it does not state my deposits. If I do need these extra documents, would my most recent bank statement be enough? Any help/advice is welcome :)

Thanks

Sometimes it is a bit more embassy specific on what exact documents are requested.

For me, if you especially make well above the needed income, then 2-3 W2's to show consistent annual income, employment letter, and 2-3 months of current pay stubs should suffice. Banking statements of like savings and such to me would only be needed if you wanted to show ample savings or using those instead of income.

I only submitted with the I-134:

Letter from employer (stating position, date of hire, hourly wage/salary rate, permanent and full time employee, ect)

3 years W2's

6 pay stubs (recent ones, or last three months worth basically)

I didn't both with any banking info or savings or asset values; but again can be sometimes specific but if your well above the line it should be enough.

Thanks. I make well over the income guidelines for the visa and even the green card (for future reference if they look at that as well.)

This is my second year at my current job so I only have one W-2 at this current income. I have no assets or crazy savings so I suppose it's just employer letter and current W-2 to go with. I suppose I should just include more pay stubs as well?

Same for me. I was at that time 5 years with my company; but no crazy savings amount or anything that would like "boost" the evidence minus maybe my 401k balance but I didn't even wanna deal with the hassle of getting paperwork for it so.

Give as much as you can. Would think couple W2's/or tax transcripts (these are mostly asked for with the AOS but can be used also for I-134).  So I'd go with that, employment letter and yea give them 3-4 months of current pay stubs. Seeing consistent income coming in at a good amount should suffice.

Thanks. I'll go with that and the pay stubs.

Thanks for answering :)
