Six to eight weeks for AoS bill?

We've been waiting for the AoS and Choice of Agent to be generated. As the general rule seems to be that it's generated on the second tuesday after getting a case # I called last tuesday ... nothing.

I read that recently it has taken longer to get them, so I wasn't really worried. Just annoyed :)

Then, my husband called an operator last night and he (operator) said we'll hear something in (now) four to six weeks ... six to eight weeks from having gotten the case #

So, now I am getting worried.

Did my husband just encounter an operator who doesn't know anything?

Is it normal for them to say '6 to 8 weeks'? Just for the AoS?

And if that's the case, how come I see all these timelines where it only took 13 days?

So many questions. Waw!

Timeline (2nd):

5/29/2009 - Filing I-751 Removal of conditions

6/01/2009 - CSC received I-751

6/04/2009 - check cashed (fast!)

6/08/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 6/01)

6/22/2009 - received Biometrics Appt. Notice

7/01/2009 - received rescheduled Appt. Notice

7/23/2009 - Biometr. Appt.

7/24/2009 - A touch, a touch!

8/20/2009 - APPROVED! Oh, glorious day!

8/25/2009 - Card production e-mail received

8/31/2009 - Card received. Error :(

9/05/2009 - Returned green card with evidence of error & I-90

9/16/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 9/14)

10/27/2009 - Correct card issued

If your AOS and DS-3032 were generated this past Monday, that would only have been 11 days after getting a case number assigned. More likely, it will be generated this Monday.

But don't hold me to it. :)

Meh

It is typical NVC answer. But in realitiy, usually it takes about 1-2 week for DS 3032 AOS Fee Bill to be generated. Don't worry.

Thanks, both of you :)

I try real hard to not get overwhelmed by the whole process but apparantly, it did get to me!

Will take deep breaths and push the worries about of my head! To pass the time I'll generate some more barcodes for practise ;)
