Hi all please assist me wth my friends situation, she isn't that great in writing English and I am therefore posting her story for her,

I am the foreign national and my husband is USC the So I submitted my application for adjustment of status back in October 2015, and applied for work authorization and advanced parole which were both approved on time. I live in Baltimore Maryland. I sent my application to chicago and everything seemed to be moving at a great speed, then I had my interview scheduled for April 2016. My Husband and I attended the interview and everything seemed okay, they asked one question that I feel he should have done better with, they asked him for the middle names of my children and he mixed two of them up which he does all the time. This has been happening since we were dating. Anyway the interviewing officer said she couldn't make her decision and we would here more in the mail. We didn't hear anything back until November 2017 in which they told me that they did not believe our marriage was real and that I should provide more evidence showing the authenticity of our marriage, so I gathered more pictures, testimonies, account statements and everything I could find and sent it to them. Since then I have not heard anything from them, I have called and they only updated my status stating that I had called and still nothing. It has almost been three years since I submitted this. Does anyone know what else I can do to get this moving along, I am currently pregnant and this is just weighing over me and depressing me.

Thanks for your help

One thing is confusing me. If this is something happening to a friend of yours, then why you are writing in first person like if this is happening to you. It makes this more confusing.  Is you currently pregnant or your friend?  You or your friend will have to make an Infopass or keep calling USCIS to see if any update.  Hope others Vjrs can help you better.

This is a sirtuation where getting a US congressman or sentor's office involved to ask (on your behalf) the current status of your case and if they (USCIS) require anything further to make a decision. She will have to sign a release so the private information can be shared with the office making the inquiry.
