Employment Letter Issue Date matters? (k1)

I'm a Nov. 2017 K1 filer and estimating to get NOA2 this May 2018, and maybe interview on June 2018.

My fiance and I will be taking vacation this April 25, 2018. Im asking him to bring with him his Employment Letter and other docs. Given this, his employer might issue the letter with a date around April 20, 2018. And my estimate interview date would be on June 2018.

Will it matter if the letter is dated April 2018 during June 2018 interview?

Do manila embassy really ask for employment letter during interview?

Thank you.

The I134 requirements with other supporting documents is a hit or miss proposition. They have not asked in the majority of cases but they still have the right to ask and sometimes they do. Prepare the package and be ready. The employment letter should be dated No earlier then 3 months from the interview.

Thank you @Greenbaum. My other option is for him to send me scanned Employment Letter and Bank Statements close to my actual interview date, but will the Manila Embassy accept scanned copy? ☺

Scanned documents are OK except for the I-134 which must be a wet signature.

Thank you.

Is your fiance a new employee or has he been working for the company for awhile?   Employer letter really isn't necessary unless a person is a new hire.   And for sure don't need bank statements unless the person is self-employed

I-134, most recent tax return and W2  .. << that is all that is needed

And with all that said, many times USEM hasn't been asking for support evidence, not to say they won't with your interview.
