It could be so many different things. I would take some Benadryl.

i was really happy with everything they did. i was a lil worried about them trenching behind my office since i had a deadline for payroll while it was going on! he said my termites are a lil bit creative :P they only poked through the walls in a few spots at the top of the window and one door. typically they poke through at the base... no sing of them anywhere around the baseboards. weird.

he also stated structurally i am still sound. i was a lil worried with the hurricanes coming up!

About the salts, sea salt or epsom salts, but w/ the raised bumps, I'm w/ Jenn, take some benadryl! If you *happen* to have some tea tree oil &/or lavender oil, you could use a little of that on it, too.

g'mornin everyone. i may have found a buyer for my house. maybe.... since i found the potential buyer, do i HAVE to use the realtor? am i allowed to bypass her all together? it would be nice to knock out the middle man but i dont wanna break any laws or contracts. my husband said "just go ahead and do it yourself" i reminded him that there was a contract but he said to cancel it if the guy gets financing. anyone know what i can do???? any help would be appreciated.

Hey, Amal, congrats on finally getting your surgery done. Hope you heal quickly!!!

As far as doing this yourself, are you up on all of the legal mumbo jumbo needed in order to sell your house? It's not brain surgery but then again I wouldn't do it myself without help from a lawyer. You need to read over the contract you made with the realtor to see if he/she put in any clauses that would prevent you from doing this solo. Congrats on at least getting a possible buyer though! My next door neighbor has had his for sale sign up on the lawn for well over a year now and he's gone down about $40k in his asking price. They have a lot of water damage in their finished basement though so that could be part of it but it sure is a slooooow market up north!

I was just talking to my aunt who's having the same problem in MHead. I guess they're coming in through her dishwasher. She was gonna try some sort of powder that you sprinkle beneath the dishwasher. Not sure if it worked. I think she was having the exterminator come anyway.

I'm thinking of making something mexican for dinner. Anyone got some good recipes? I'm off today so I have all day to shop and prepare it.

My roommate changed his work schedule so he now takes Omar to work every morning. No more 45 min commute for me and no 3 bus commute for him! We trade off on the pick up.

The weather can't decide what it wants to do here. It was an outright downpour first thing this morning, now looks like a beautiful spring day. Typical for here though.

Enjoy spending your paychecks, those of you who have payday today.

Maggie

Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone has a fun weekend ahead.

Cinco de Mayo is tomorrow, so I think I see some Mexican food in my future! I hope the weather will cooperate with any outdoor plans.

Has anyone seen any good movies lately? I saw "Perfect Stranger" with Halle Berry and Bruce Willis the other night. It was pretty interesting, and definitely keeps you guessing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something intriguing. There's a bit of nudity and sexual content, though, so if that sort of thing bothers you, be forewarned.

Have a good day!
