NVC "In Transit" status

In need of your advice. Is it possible to schedule an interview even if your status is still "In Transit" (NVC) or has anyone tried it? Please share your experience.

And lastly, is there anyone who knows any contact number in Manila, Philippines to call to follow up case status (aside from CEAC website) because our case has been "In Transit" since 03/22/2018.

It has been my experience that you can not schedule an interview without the interview letter. You might want to google the contact number for the person(s), embassy department, etc... that you are trying to contact.
