I have a quick question and was wondering if anybody else had the same situations I’m in. I recently sent in my husband I601A waiver . I’m aware of the fact that even if his waiver is approved his visa is not guaranteed once he goes to his home country. I want to make a packet just in case his visa gets denied in Honduras to apply for the i601 waiver.

My question is can I use the same packet I sent for my first waiver?

well first of all I hope and pray he doesn't get denied but if he does yes do another just in case but different more of how would you suffer that he not there with you and if you have kids the same and how much money would be spent for you and him because most likely you going to send him something. But from what i know from family members the only time that someone would get denied is because they lied at their interview or they found something from there medical exam or background. best of luck!

Thank you for responding the reason why I’m worried is because he has a single DWI on his record . We mentioned it in the packet and also included the criminal record so they could see it was his only offense plus it was 6 years ago. I’m just worried they try to deny it for that reason .

hey.. has he got approve from his waiver? because i would think that if you put all that in is packet and if it was a problem then they wouldn't approve his waiver? if he did get approve then make sure he take everything he sent in his packet originals and copies just to be on the safe side. my husband still haven't been approve for his wavier i sent it march19 and on april 5 i received a letter how they accepted his finger print fee and to wait for his biometric appointment. I am so nervous for him i don't know why and he's like all calm I already have his binder ready for his interview lol and just recently he got pulled over and they gave him a ticket for no driver id and i didn't wait for his court day to pay it and i put his ticket and the paid receipt in his binder because they will ask in his interview if he had any problems with the police, but any way I really do wish you and your husband the best!

No we haven’t been approved yet ; we jut went to do his biometrics Wednesday this week . So now all were waiting for is a yes or no. We sent in his packet in Feb 27 . So we aren’t so far from each other . We should be getting an answer around the same time . And thank you! I wish you and your husband the best also . Best of luck ! 🍀
