NVC to USA

Hoping for some help if anyone has information:

 

1) Does anyone know how long it takes to get your K1 visa/passport back after the interview?

 

2) Has anyone found a way to get a closer medical appointment other than calling daily?

 

3) Has anyone else's case been referred to this pivot processing to send case from the NVC to the embassy?  If so, how long does it take to have the case sent to the embassy?

 

4) We tried making the interview appt but it wouldn't let us.  Is that because the case isn't in a ready status?  It's still listed as "at NVC."

 

5) I presume you can fly to the US on the K1 visa as soon as it's issued, correct?

1. Can take 3-5 days to be processed and 1-3 days for delivery.

 

2. Nope. Calling is the only way.

 

3. Can take up to 60 days to go from NVC to embassy. 

 

4. Yes. Needs to state Ready before you can book. 

 

5. As soon as the visa is in your hand, book your flights and off you go!

I just got my visa back. It's been exactly a week. My interview was last thursday and I picked it up from the courier today!

Same here, within a week my visa was ready for collection. I was surprised by how fast it was processed.
