Thank you for the valuable information. What can I do now as we anticipate the NOA2? We have come to the conclusion that we must be patient and wait the course; All we have is patience and prayers. Actually, You and Adil are a great example of dedication and perseverance :)

Also, I am going to Casa in June to spend two months with my wife; Is there something I must do before I go?? Thanks

you can take a copy of 2018 tax returns so she has them for the interview

Just got off the phone with the USCIS, inquiring about my I-130.

The young lady told me the wait is from 9 and half months to 12 months now.

How true is this information? Thanks

I joined the forum just over a year ago. It was about a week or so after my I-130 was sent in and I remember reading so many posts on the forum about it taking around 9 months for noa2. Every day it was new posts with doom and gloom which seemed to create a lot of stress for forum members.

My noa2 came after 269 days so pretty much right on time and also not far off the time you have been quoted. Remember due to the volume of applications not everyone will be approved in month nine. In my eyes not much has changed in the year, it's still the same times being quoted.

Try be productive with your time and learn about the process and prepare yourself for the next stage. Take positives from what you read and try not let the negatives get under your skin and stress you out. After noa2 it seems the time has flown in, you are much more in control of the time. They request something like a payment and a form filled in, the quicker you get it done the quicker the process moves. Honestly it seems like the nine months at USCIS dragged in but the 4 months at the NVC has flown in. 13 months after my I-130 was sent in it seems unreal that my interview is in four days.

So try enjoy the process and look to your future with your spouse, a year is only as long as you make it in your head. If you get all stressed that year will feel like two or three years, believe me I think I grew more grey hairs in the first few months.

Best of luck on your visa journey.

How was the interview process at the Dublin Consulate? Just so I can give my husband a heads up. We aren't close to that yet but there aren't a lot of folks from Ireland on this site.
