Yes. I called many times and they told me I’m still within the processing time which is 9 to 11 months...

Very rarely when the wait is that long. I hope they are wrong :( Nine to Eleven months put us at a 2 year wait before spouses get here.

It’s a very frustrating process. I’m hoping by the end of the month I will hear some good news.

That time frame is only the USCIS stage

then your packet goes to NVC and you do all the documents and pay the fees there

The NVC time phase depends on how fast you do what is needed

completing the I 864 and she doing the DS 260 after bothe fees are paid (all this is done online)

then you will recieve instructions to get the following in native language with English translations for the Moroccan:

1. they will also request the 2 criminal investigation reports (Fiche Anthropometrique, and the Extrait du Casier Judiciaire)

2. and the medical exam from Morocco

when you send these (one mailing) with the bar code letter, since you can can staple, paper clip or put in binders,  label each and every page with your case number,   both names and both DOB's to prevent any page getting lost

Best way we found to get the Moroccan documents fast was chrono post (about 4 days)

the best average time frame is around 14 moths from applicaiton to interview and all that depends on whether or not you get an RFE

and whether or not you do the NVC documents in a timely manner

I appreciate your positive outlook; I, too, will be with my wife for two months this summer, and we do not have children. There are couples with infants and babies in this e=wait game. What have the USCIS tell you when you called?

I've called a few times. To sum up, I also had an I-129F for a K3 visa in the system (I now know that to be a useless endeavor, but didn't know that when I filed). On February 26th they closed that case, saying a "status or benefit was granted by other means". Which should mean something happened with my I-130, right? (My I-130 case status, by the way, is not available online).

So, the first several times I called, they just pulled up my case and gave me the speech about waiting 9 to 11 months.

Finally, one officer acknowledged that the status of the I-129F meant something should have happened with my I-130, so he put in a service order to basically force the adjudicating officer to update the status of my case. I just now called back and was informed that a letter was mailed April 9, so I expect to receive that in the next day or two. Hopefully it's an approval, but there's also a potential that it's just a general status update that says the case is still "being processed". Time will tell!

Thank you for the valuable information. What can I do now as we anticipate the NOA2? We have come to the conclusion that we must be patient and wait the course; All we have is patience and prayers. Actually, You and Adil are a great example of dedication and perseverance :)

Also, I am going to Casa in June to spend two months with my wife; Is there something I must do before I go?? Thanks

I am almost certain the letter is Approval; Your NOA2 :) Best of luck!

We will communicate updates more efficiently, if you create a timeline :) Where was your case received? NVC?

I hope I am wrong about your particular case, but it will be a miracle that you are approved within 90 days.

I am going in my 7th month. Best scenarios have been 5 and 6 moths. There are people here waiting for 9 months.

Again, I hope I am wrong :)

Does your case number work on the uscis case tracker? Mine didn't and this page gave me peace of mind. Also a lot of folks have been able to find out their approvals from that site.
