yeah, tell me about it. I doubt it will take that long to get a interview notice though...

I just wish this was done already, it's  almost 21 months since i first applied.

So, are you functioning on an i551 stamp then? I just went to get mine yesterday and received it for a year. I didn't ask her how long it would take me to get an interview...she said to consider the stamp as my green card so I left the appt satisfied. i just want to be able to work and travel freely while waiting for the USCIS to do their work...for now. Lol

yes, this was the second i551 stamp I got and they gave me only 6 months each time. So sep/oct I might have to go back for another one (But obviously I'm hoping I will just have my green card by then) :D

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding the RFE deadline. I received a RFE notice with the deadline being March 17th, 2018. I sent my documents on Feb 27th priority mail overnight with delivery confirmation. I have the receipt from the USPS stating that USCIS received the package on Feb 28th. I went to check my case status online on March 27th and it had said that the my case was received at the local office on March 19th (not sure exactly what it said). But today, when i went to check the status online, it states that, "On April 9, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number xxxx, at your local office. " There is no history of the previous case update and I'm freaking out because I have no proof of the previous update(didn't take a screenshot) and Apr 9th is way past my deadline. So my question is, does the deadline mean when the USCIS received the package from the USPS or when the appropriate division receives the package from whoever got the package from the post office.

Thanks!!

I had RFE too

I mailed out my response with USPS priority mail

My case status online says: On April the 4th, 2018 we received your response to USCIS' request of evidence and our Vermont service center will begin working on your case again

So, USPS delivered my response on April the 2 and USCIS updated the status on their website in 2 days
